Leavenworth, WA

Overview: This is a wonderful Thousand Trails RV park near the Bavarian mountain town of Leavenworth. It offers lots of amenities, along with fantastic hiking trails. It is a rather busy campground in the peak months, especially on the weekends, but still is very peaceful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We especially enjoyed the camp hosts, Ron and Glenda! We enjoyed our stay.

Campsites: The sites vary with partial and full hookups. Most sites are 30 amps, with a small sampling of 50 amps. About 1/4 of the sites have sewer hookups. The sites are wooded/shaded with level gravel parking. The spacing varies, but most sites have adequate privacy. Each site has a picnic table and fire pit. Most sewer connections are fairly new and some are placed in less than ideal locations (far from power source), so you have to be a bit creative when setting up.

Amenities: Heated swimming pool, community lodge with game room, laundry room, convenience/ice cream store open on the weekends, tennis courts, miniature golf, playground, lots of hiking trails, snowmobile rental in the winter, pickle ball court, basketball court, organized weekend activities, cabin rental, dump station, pond for fishing

Pet friendly: Yes

Internet:  Public Wi-Fi available at the lodge, good cellular signals

Price:  ~$45/night public rate (Discounted for Thousand Trail Members)

Rating: 3.5/5
