Chelan, WA

Overview: This is a city owned park in downtown Chelan. It is centrally located to walk to downtown and enjoy the lake front beach. Overall, the location is ideal, however this is a VERY busy park in the summer months. There is minimal privacy and no serenity.

Campsites: Paved, level full hook up sites (30/50 amp, sewer, water, cable). Each site has a picnic table. The sites are very closely spaced, but trees abound.

Amenities: Access to Don Morse Park, which has beach/lake front, docks, skate park, playground, volleyball/basketball/tennis courts, putting green, and boat rental. The RV Park itself has numerous bathhouses and a dump station.

Pet friendly: No. Pets are not allowed in the park from Memorial Day to Labor day. They are allowed during the off-season. The staff was friendly with us and allowed Wizard to stay because we had traveled so far and were not notified of the no pet policy. (We would not have stayed here if we knew Wizard was not allowed.)

Internet:  Not at campsites. Great cellular signals! (Free Wi-Fi is available at the office)

Price:  $44-55/night peak season, $28+/night of season

Rating: 2.5/5
