Little Diamond RV Campground

Newport, WA

Overview: This is a Thousand Trail/KOA Park in Newport, Washington, which is about a 1-hour drive to Spokane and 1.5 hour drive to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. It is in a very remote location and is very peaceful. It is NOT on Diamond Lake, which is a nice large lake; rather it is on Little Diamond Lake that is essentially a pond (not ideal for swimming). It has nice amenities, however the staff are NOT friendly. The staff is KOA employed and do not treat their TT members well.

Campsites: Thousand Trail (TT) campsites are not maintained well. There are NO sewer connections in this park. The TT sites vary from small back-in sites to large pull through sites. Each site has 30 amp power and water hook ups. They are dirt packed and vary in leveling. The KOA sites are level and gravel and newly maintained. Each campsite has a picnic table and fire-ring.

Amenities: Heated pool and hot tub. The hot tub is for adults only. There is a pond/small lake for fishing (stocked yearly) or non-motorized boating.
